Video Friday: Treadmill Review of the ProForm Power 995

The treadmill featured in this week’s “Video Friday” is the ProForm Power 995! This treadmill is one of the lower priced treadmills in the ProForm line up. Don’t let the low price fool you, because this treadmill has some awesome features. If you’re looking for a treadmill that has a great value at a low price, then you may have just found your treadmill.

This treadmill is packed with amazing features and specifications. Rarely do you find a treadmill at this price that includes iFit® Compatibility, 20 built-in workout apps, and the Nike + iPod® Compatibility. These features will give the user an awesome treadmill experience and for the price being so low, you’d be crazy to not consider this treadmill.

Here are the main specs for this treadmill:

Incline: 0-15%
Running Surface: 20″ x 60″

The customers seem to be very please with this treadmill. You can go read the customer reviews here. One customer rated the Power 995 with five out of five stars and he said, “Excellent treadmill at an excellent price. Delivery came sooner than expected, and set up went easily according to the directions. The Power 995 is a heavy and sturdy treadmill, but set up is fairly simple with two people. The treadmill itself has worked perfectly from the start. Had to fuss a little to get the iFit module to work, but once it was configured correctly and connected to our internet modem, it works great.

One of the more negative customer reviews stated that, “This one seems to be raised off the ground much higher than my prior Proforms, so keep this in mind if you are putting in a basement or where ceilings are not as high. Also, I specifically bought this model as it included a fan, and the fan is rather useless. The area that that the air comes out is about one inch high. My prior proforms had a nice four or five inch diameter fan that did a nice job. With this machine I can’t even tell if the fan is on or off.

Overall, this treadmill has received excellent feedback. This treadmill is priced very low considering all the fantastic features and specifications it has to offer. This treadmill from the ProForm line up is definitely worth your time and consideration. You cannot buy many heavy-duty, feature filled treadmills at this price. The one complaint I managed to find was about a fan. It’s not the biggest problem that a treadmill can have, but it worth thinking about if you really need a working fan. Besides that, this treadmill seems too good to be true. Check back to my News Page next Friday to see my Video Review of the Sole F85 Treadmill!
